WHAT TO BRING TO
REGISTRATION
When you come to
registration, you must have with you the following:
1. Child's birth
certificate
2. Registration fees
All children must turn in
proof of a physical examination by a licensed doctor prior to
beginning. The physical must be dated ON OR
AFTER MAY 1, 2010. This is a conference rule which we
cannot waive.
REGISTRATION FEES FOR
2010
The
Board of Directors has
set registration fees for the 2010 football & cheerleading seasons at
$250.00 per child.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT AGES/WEIGHTS
Please pay particular attention to the ages &
weights listed below. The ages and weights have been set by by the
Gulf Coast Youth Football Conference Board of Football Trustees
for 2010.
Please be realistic when stating your football playing child's weight.
Under-estimating or over-estimating weight brings registration problems.
Any football player who is 10 pounds or more heavier than the listed starting
weight of a division will be automatically moved up to the higher weight
division at the first day of practice.
AGES AND WEIGHTS
Football and cheerleading teams are divided into five (5)
age divisions. Football team weights below are strictly enforced at registration. Weights
for the 2009 season are now final.
Age is determined as of July 31, 2009. The divisions are as follows:

*The weight listed in this column represents the
MAXIMUM weight that a player may be at official weigh-in in August.
Football players
are permitted to gain a maximum of one (1) pound per game, to a maximum
of 10 pounds, beginning with the
first regularly scheduled game. All players weigh-in prior to every football game. Any
player not making weight for that week is not permitted to play in the game. |
